846 It is a "T" slot milling cutter : to mill a t-slot, a normal slot must be machined first as a t-slot milling cutter will only mill on the bottom flutes
(and not up the length of a tool).
846 cutters are available in 3 different ddiameters and flute thickness, enabling a wide range of t-slot forms to be produced.
It can be milling in a single pass or in multiple passes; it can also be used for groove milling.
