974 (APKT 1003)
974 Face shell milling cutter utilizes standard inserts:
- APET 1003
- APKT 1003
It has 15° approach angle and 11° relief angle permits high cutting speed with limited power machines.
It is suggested for surface milling of steel, alloyed steel, cast irons and aluminum alloys.
This inclination permits to recuper the two unusued edge of APKT 1003.
We suggested to use maximum .060 depth of cut.
