.78 chip breaker is sharp and designed for medium machining of Steels, Stainless steels. It features positive rake angle without T-land. It’s also conditionally suitable for Non-ferrous alloys and Super-alloys
These inserts can be right or left hand. If you use an external right hand holder you can use only a CNMG.78 ...R; instead in a right hand boring bar you have to mount CNMG.78...L.
